SYNOPSIS / Editorial Review about - Red Cliff [Limited Collector's Edition] |
DVD release from the film "Red Cliff" starring Tony Leung and Takeshi Kaneshiro. Directed by John Woo, the renowned action movie director of "M:I-2" fame. The story is based on a historical battle that took place in the ancient China. Liu Bei's Army, threatened by Cao Cao's Army, sends their chief advisor Zhuge Liang (Takeshi Kaneshiro) to Sun Quan's Army as a diplomat to coordinate military alliance. However, the ministers of Sun Quan's Army are not willing to take a risk of that battle. Meanwhile, the commander in Sun Quan's Army Zhou Yu (Tony Leung) is so impressed with Zhuge's personality and his battle plan. Finally, they cultivate a sense of mutual trust and decide to fight together against Cao Cao's Army. Limited edition includes two bonus discs featuring footage of press conference at Tokyo, greeting, interview with the director John Woo, main actor Tony Leung and Takeshi Kaneshiro, trailers, making-of footage, and deluxe 100-page booklet with stills, storyboard, and more.
